BANKSIDE GALLERY
Bankside Gallery is the home of the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal
Society of Painter-Printmakers. We run changing exhibitions of contemporary watercolours
and original prints, featuring the work of the Members of both Societies. Members are
elected by their peers in a tradition of excellence reaching back almost two hundred
years. Their work embraces both established and experimental practices and the exhibitions
reflect these different approaches.
Artists Perspectives take place every Tuesday at 6.30pm during an exhibition. Perspectives
give you a chance to meet artists, share a glass of wine and discuss the work on the walls
in an informal setting. Free on admission.Watercolour and Printmaking Courses led by
Members of both Societies are available throughout the year. Call the Gallery on 0171-928
7521 for a brochure.
